In 2023 and 2024 I was awarded funding by UK Jewish Film to produce two short documentaries on contemporary Jewish life in Britain.

Growing Up Mizrahi (2023)

Through cartoons and music Growing Up Mizrahi explores what it’s like to be the UK-born daughter of Iraqi Jews growing up in an Ashkenormative world.

Torn (2024)

After October 7 the walls of one London neighbourhood became an unexpected battleground between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli activists, with the hostage posters caught up in the crossfire. Following a shocking discovery, Torn is a very personal reflection on the ripped posters of the kidnapped and on reclaiming them as a symbol of hope and healing.
