There is talk in some parts that this weekend will be the end of the world as some of us know it. With the promise of an apocalyptic earthquake along with some harlots and horned beasts thrown in. And all this before teatime on Saturday.

Another cartoon for the Olympic-themed exhibition at this year’s Shrewsbury International Cartoon Festival. Things kick off tomorrow with a chance to see cartoonists, including The Surreal McCoy, drawing big boards live in the town square. Full programme of events here.
